La Selección Argentina recibe este martes a Bolivia, en el marco de la fecha 10 de las Eliminatorias Sudamericanas rumbo al Mundial 2026, por lo que en lo que ya es habitual, el entrenador Lionel Scaloni esperó hasta último momento para definir al equipo.
El conjunto nacional llega con varias bajas entre la suspensión de Dibu Martínez y las diversas lesiones, aunque recupera al Cuti Romero y a Alexis Mac Allister, quien en palabras del entrenador, “entrenó muy bien”, por lo que finalmente será de la partida.
En la defensa, y pese al muy buen partido de Germán Pezzella en Venezuela y a que Lisandro Martínez venía de ser una fija, es Nicolás Otamendi el elegido para acompañar a Romero, repitiendo la defensa de la final de Qatar, con Nahuel Molina y Nicolás Tagliafico en las bandas.
En el medio, con el regreso de Mac Allister, salió Thiago Almada, quien en gran medida por el mal estado del campo de juego, no pudo aprovechar su titularidad ante Venezuela.
En el ataque, el capitán Lionel Messi se mantiene entre los 11, y el de Pujato apuesta por el tridente, con Lautaro Martínez y Julián Álvarez.
